Interested in learning about henna, how it is used, how to mix it and apply it to the skin? Then don’t miss this class taught by Amy of www.bestowinghenna.com.

Henna, or Mehndi, as a form of body adornment, has been practiced for hundreds of years to dye hair, nails and skin. Almost every religion and culture have used some form of it in their traditions at one time or another. Now henna is being enjoyed across the world for many reasons, including for the pure beauty and joy it brings!

In this class you will learn:
– about the henna plant
– how to mix your own henna paste
– henna applicators
– sealing the henna and stain development
– safety of henna and black henna

Each student will leave with a design applied by Amy and a henna cone!

Saturday February 24, 3-5:30 PM
Class cost is $40. A materials fee of $10 will be due to teacher at time of class. Spaces are limited, registration is required by 2/20 at 12 PM to allow Amy time to prepare henna.
