DESCRIPTION:\n\nWe all make choices daily with regards to color. Looking fo
 r pleasing combinations in our clothing and in our surroundings\, we have 
 intuition to guide us. By learning about color we combine this intuition w
 ith knowledge\, and the results can be powerful. Local artist and universi
 ty instructor Diane of @dianeharperart teaches exercises in art in order t
 o learn to see\, choose\, and combine color to achieve color harmonies. By
  exploring color schemes\, we'll see how colors affect one another. Experi
 mentation is the key to manipulating color! This class is for the beginner
  as well as for the experienced artist. Leave class with a value scale of 
 your own creation for use in all your art projects! Brown Bag Lunch or tak
 e out from an area restaurant.\n\nBasic Supply List:\n\nSmall tubes of stu
 dent-grade acrylic paint in seven colors:\n\nBlack\n\nPermanent Green\n\nD
 ioxazine Purple\n\nCadmium Red Medium\n\nUltramarine Blue\n\nPrimary Yello
 w\n\nZinc White (Titanium White 2nd choice)\n\nSmall Round Paint Brush for
  acrylic (they have synthetics that are inexpensive)\n\nPencil\n\nEraser\n
 \nOptional but extremely helpful:  Small Color Wheel (The Color Company m
 akes one\, available in stores or online)\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSaturday February 
 17\, 10 AM-3 PM\n\nClass cost is $40. A materials fee of $10 will be due t
 o Diane at time of class for extra supplies. Spaces are limited\, registra
 tion is required.
