DESCRIPTION:\n\nDid you know cyanotype was invented by an astronomer trying
  to find a way to copy his notes? It is a photographic printing process wh
 ich produces a cyan-blue print and was used by engineers to make blueprint
 s throughout the 20th century. Learn how to make cyanotype prints\, maximi
 ze the modern cyanotype process\, and move beyond basic blue in this works
 hop with Mo Lashbrook of @behindthesmileart.\nParticipates will create bea
 utiful cyanotype art prints with deeper blues\, longer tonal range\, and m
 ore vivid colors. Learn to mix cyanotype chemicals\, prepare surfaces\, ex
 pose\, develop\, tone\, and embellish prints. This workshop will show you 
 how to use this historical process in a very versatile and creative way to
  make unique hand-made art. Participates will take home every print they c
 reate! Ages 12+\, please. No refunds.\nCyanotypes require UV light in orde
 r to create images. A successful class needs a sunny day. A rain date of M
 ay 30 has been scheduled. Please be sure you are able to attend rain date 
 in case we need to postpone class due to weather.\n\nMaterials fee covers:
 \nA variety of paper and fabric to experiment on.\nCyanotype chemicals and
  toning supplies to experiment with.\nPhoto negatives and miscellaneous ob
 jects for creating prints.\nPainting supplies for embellishing prints.\n\n
 Students should bring:\nThe cyanotype process is rather messy so wear old 
 clothing and bring rubber gloves.\nObjects with an interesting shape and/o
