A world of DIY opens up when you have a sewing machine – but you have to learn how to use it first. All those dials and buttons and settings can be intimidating if you haven’t used a sewing machine before. Bring your sewing machine to class and I’ll show you what you need to get started actually using it. In this class you’ll learn:
- How to thread your machine
- How to load a bobbin
- How to change and adjust your stitches
- How to change the needle
- How to change your presser foot (and why you’d want to do that!)
- How to sew a straight seam
We’ll practice these skills while making a pretty little pincushion. Sewing machine & basic sewing kit required.
Online registrations are not available for this class.
