English Paper Piecing (EPP) is a technique practiced since the beginning of the 16th century, and has a strong following in today’s quilting world. What started as a way to use scraps to make blankets when fabric was scarce has turned into a satisfying and creative way to make unique home goods and embellish clothing.
The entire process of EPP is hand executed. It’s not complicated and is a highly portable fabric craft. No prior sewing or quilting experience is needed. Join Susan of SWS Makes as she guides you through the process of completing your first English Paper Pieced motif.
Class is limited to 4 participants to allow for distancing, masks are required.
Materials Fee (paid to teacher at beginning of class) covers: all tools, paper shapes, fabric and supplies. You will take home your completed EPP rosette and knowledge of a craft that could very likely be your next obsession!
