Dondi shares a hip and modern take on traditional methods for hand-coloring old photographs! Purple hair? Yes! Yellow grass? Yes! Green skin? Yes! Or you can keep it a little more tame. Students will learn techniques using photo compatible oils, Marlene medium, PMSolution, and other materials. Dondi will share secrets from her years of experience with professional photography and hand-coloring so you won’t need to reinvent the wheel!
Bring 2-3 vintage non-glossy black and white photos for your imaginative, crazy color stylings! (just remember, it’s permanent!) One photograph will be included in your supplies fee, and a selection of other vintage black and white photographs will be available for purchase if you want to experiment.
