Join local calligrapher Kate Edwards at South Main Creative to learn the basics of brush lettering! In this two hour class, you’ll learn about beginner friendly supplies used for brush pen calligraphy, the basic strokes that make up the letters and how they’re assembled to make words, along with troubleshooting tips and tricks. You’ll walk away with the knowledge and tools needed to practice and develop your brush lettering skills. In addition to the supply kit, which is
yours to keep, a variety of brush pens will be available to try out during the class. Lefties welcome! 12+, please.
Materials fee includes:
● Class packet containing upper and lowercase exemplars, practice sheets, practice
words, guidelines and an abundance of tips, tricks, and resources.
● Beginner friendly black brush pen
● Fun color brush pen
● Pencil
● Practice paper
