Craft Yarn Council certified instructor Susan Sullivan of SWS Makes will guide you through this three-part learn-to-crochet class. We will use the quintessential Granny Square as our learning project! This class is for those who have never picked up a hook or maybe haven’t crocheted since childhood.
We will start from the beginning learning how to hold the hook and controlling the all-important tension on the yarn. Then we’ll chain and learn the double crochet stitch. There will be homework between sessions to ensure you’re ready to complete the Granny Square in week three. Susan will share helpful tutorial videos to reinforce the steps while you’re working at home (gmail address required for access to video tutorials). Susan’s goal is to do everything she can to make your class experience a success! Ages 12+, please.
Materials fee includes: hook, yarn, stitch markers, and yarn needle.
Class limited to 4 participants to allow for distancing. Masks required.
